In the lithium space we have utilized our patent pending 3-stage process system with energy recovery to achieve various milestones including :

  • Ultra high pressure nanofiltration purification of saturated Lithium brine solutions at pressures up to 1800 psi, with demonstrated recovery of 90-95%

  • Ultra high pressure reverse osmosis concentration of lithium adsorption strip solutions at pressures up to 1800 psi, with demonstrated recovery in excess of 95%

  • Ultra high pressure nanofiltration of highly concentrated lithium strip solutions after UHPRO concentration, with demonstrated recovery in excess of 90%

These systems exhibit several common characteristics including:

  • Process simplicity. Since all concentration steps are built into a single unit

  • Lowest possible power consumption. Interstage boosting and final energy recovery eliminates any unused power

  • Limited fouling potential and higher up-times. Recovery can be controlled within 1% of target per stage, ensuring each stage and membrane is operating at peak performance.

  • Rapid turn-around CIP cycles. Fouling potential can be controlled in specific stages and cleaned in a bank-by-bank process. Clean only what you need, when you need to.

  • Lower overall cost. The multi-stage single unit approach eliminates duplicate skids, piping, valves, break tanks and associated control
